Connected to Our Clients For Five Decades
History
We’ve been around as Breckenridge for more than a decade when a proven team of insurance industry executives purchased a west-coast based worker’s comp entity in 2009, followed by the acquisition of a regional brokerage firm based out of St. Louis in 2010. The latter, International Placement Services, Inc., was founded more than forty years ago when cell phones were the size of briefcases and shoulder pads were as big as linebackers (circa 1981). These investments were followed by scoring several expert specialty program teams previously housed under our Blue River Underwriters brand.
We continue to strategically invest in and accelerate our growth in terms of skilled brokers, geographic presence, carrier partnerships, technology and product offerings to best solve problems for a diverse array of clients nationwide. We’re deeply entrenched in the insurance space and committed to organizational compliance practices as a SOC 2 (SSAE 26) certified service organization with comprehensive information security practices focused on the privacy of our valued clients’ data. In the process, we have garnered the respect of industry and international carrier partners through hard work and perseverance.
